Induction will be open to all applicants as per university rules. Admissions will be offered biannually: during the Fall Semester and, for certain departments, during the Spring Semester.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the minimum “Academic Eligibility Criteria” set by UW
Candidates must provide Authentic Sports Certificates, Evidence of Participation from recognized Boards/
Federations
The certificate should not be more than one year old, Sports Scholarship will be initially awarded for one year. However, it may be continued for the next year on the basis of sports performance/certificates of the next period
Sports Scholarships
5X Scholarships will be awarded per year
Departments within the faculty may recommend candidates based on sports performance and academic eligibility.
Post-Admission Commitments
Selected students must sign a Sports Participation Bond, committing to represent the university in Inter-university, Regional/District, Provincial, and National tournaments
Non-compliance (academic failure or non-participation in sports) may lead to withdrawal of scholarship
Transparency & Monitoring
All trial proceedings must be documented (attendance, scoring sheets, video recording)
Annual performance review of admitted students to be submitted to the Director Academics through Registrar Office by Directorate of Student Affairs.
Note: Membership of POF State of the Art Sports Facilities at subsidized rates at par with Wards of POF Employees
